All of us are a sum of many things – our genes, the way we were raised, the people we have met, the places we have been, and the unique experiences we have had.
I have been a software developer since the early 1980’s. I have worked in shops with card readers, card punches, and disk drives the size of small freezers. I am still in the field so I have had to change with the times. What strikes me most is how everything old is new again in software development.
